Ebenezer Youth is a Jesus-Centred youth group in Saskatoon for students in grades 6-12. Junior Youth (6-8) meets Tuesday evenings at 7pm; Senior Youth (9-12) meets Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
For over 30 years, we have built a proven discipleship pathway from Grade 6 through young adulthood, engaging more than 300 students, leaders-in-training, and volunteers each week. Students from across Saskatoon have come to Ebenezer Youth to find community, grow in faith, and develop as leaders, and we would love for you to check things out!

Our Youth Leadership Team:

Meet William Dmytrow (Youth Pastor)
I’ve been part of the Ebenezer family for 10 years. I first came to Ebenezer after a life-changing encounter with God, and found a Jesus-centred community that showed me what it truly means to follow Him. For 9 years, I’ve had the joy of serving at Ebenezer Youth as a youth leader, intern, fill-in point leader, and now as the youth pastor!
I’m a husband, friend, thinker, writer, speaker, and pastor, but above all, a follower of the way of Jesus.
I count it a privilege to serve God by walking with students and leaders at Ebenezer. I deeply believe that Jesus transforms lives, I’ve seen it again and again, right before my eyes. Ebenezer has truly been the church in my life. I’ve been blessed by this community beyond words. I’m also married to the most amazing woman in the world, whom I get the privilege of leading alongside (Emma), have incredible friends, and love playing just about any sport I can get my hands on.
Beyond Ebenezer, I serve as the General Director at the 306 Network (a regional youth movement), am the Network Mobilizer for the YWC (a national youth worker organization) and write regularly on my blog Following Jesus for Life w/ William Dmytrow, along with authoring books (you can click here to check out a leadership book I wrote for our student leadership program!).

Will My Student Belong and Grow?
We will strive to create an environment with the ambitious goal that every student who walks through our doors will belong in our community and learn to follow Jesus for life. Although we can never guarantee this, here are our steps to fostering these things:
Life Groups
- Although we have a bigger group, we are always aiming to 'grow smaller.' Meaning: discipleship is at the center of all we do, and we are committed to being a life-group-centered ministry that fosters deeper friendships, mentorship, and faith in community.
Mentorship
- We have a life group leadership team aiming for a 1:3 student ratio that is equipped to mentor students largely in the context of life groups.
'Other Initiatives'
- Beyond our youth nights, we engage in smaller youth initiatives all throughout the week to engage with other people in deeper ways, such as bible studies, leadership development programs, Sunday school classes, outreach teams, and more.
Summer Drop-In
- Although our main programs run September-June, we believe that discipleship doesn't stop in the summer. Which is why, throughout the summer, we still engage Monday-Friday for touchpoints and deeper engagement. Click here for more information!

What Happens Before Middle School and After High School?
At Ebenezer Youth, we recognize that age transitions can be hard. Which is why we have intentional transitions both before the Grade 6-12 age begins and when it ends.
Intermediates
-Our Intermediates program is a Grade 5-6 program for students transitioning from the Kids age to the Youth age. We meet every week Sunday morning at 10am-11am and engage in worship, play games, and will walk through the entire Old and New Testament in the two years they are with us.
Young Adults
- We intentionally invite our Grade 12's to our young adults ministry at Ebenezer months before youth ends so they have space to engage in after high school. Click here to learn more about Young Adults.
Youth Leadership
- Our leadership pathway is designed to engage our students in intentional serving and discipling of our younger students; many of our leadership team members are 'Ebenezer Youth alumni' and continue to lead with us into young adulthood. Click here to learn more about our Leadership Pipeline Philosophy
Youth Ministry Training Pathway
- For those sensing a call to youth ministry as a vocation once they have done high school, we have a training pathway we engage people in to create an 'intern-like' experience in an Apprenticeship environment. Click here to learn about our Youth Apprenticeship.
