Prayer Service

What if the most powerful thing you could do today was pray not for what you want, but for what God wants? This Sunday, our church gathered around the Lord's Prayer and was reminded that the first petition Jesus teaches us is not about our needs. It is a call to surrender: "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

We shared where God is calling us to bring His kingdom, celebrated how He has provided for us, confessed our sins to one another, and took communion together remembering the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ.

This is what it looks like to be the church. Not just declaring faith, but living it out together in honesty, humility, and hope.

Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
