Missional ideas for outreach & serving

The three key relationships of a mature disciple of Jesus are their personal relationship with God (UP), their relationship to the rest of the body of Christ (IN) and their relationships with people in the world that God has placed around them (OUT).  

Below are missional application-based resources to help your life group grow in IN and OUT areas that you can use as your group deepens in discipleship to Jesus:

FOR LIFE GROUPS

Serving (IN)
  • Volunteer to serve at funerals at the church
  • Volunteer - serving at equipping seminars

Outreach (OUT):
  • Baking/ meal and deliver together as a life group to people and pray for them. 
  • Meet a practical need of someone connected to your LG.
  • Take up an offering in your LG to meet the needs of someone.

FOR FAMILIES

Serving (IN) :
  • Hospitality - invite new people from the church to your home
  • Coffee Team 
  • Welcome Team at Ebenezer
  • Youth Snack prep
  • Meal Train
  • Food Hamper and blessing tree
Outreach (OUT):

FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE AT

Prairie Hope Women's Centre & Saskatchewan Men's Centre:
A charitable organization operating 12-month in-residence, faith-based addiction recovery programs for adults 18+, with the Saskatchewan Men's Centre near Allan and Prairie Hope Women's Centre in Hague serving men and women overcoming drug and alcohol addiction.

The Bridge Saskatoon
