What does it look like when God shows up in a way that changes everything? In Acts chapter 2, we witness one of the most extraordinary moments in all of human history – the birth of the church. Wind rushing through a room, tongues of fire resting on ordinary people, and a community suddenly speaking in languages they had never learned. This was not a quiet, subtle moment. It was a declaration that something new had begun.

As we continue through the book of Acts together, we get to wrestle with what this moment means not just for those first believers, but for us. The same Spirit that filled that room is the one we are invited to encounter today.

This Sunday's message draws us into that story and asks us to consider how the power of the Holy Spirit and the grounding of God's Word work together to shape a people of faith.
